We exist so that people can encounter God, walk in freedom, and live out their destiny in Christ Jesus.

Memphis Tabernacle began with a simple vision — to be a place where God’s Presence and People would meet. We opened our doors in Fall 2018 at East High School, believing God had called us to plant a life-giving church in the heart of Memphis.

Just nine months later, God opened the door to purchase the historic Galloway United Methodist Church—home of Johnny Cash’s first public concert—and begin renovations to restore it’s beauty and purpose for the Cooper-Young community.

Since then, we’ve seen countless stories of life, love, and redemption. We’ve watched the Holy Spirit transform hearts, heal families, and draw people closer to Jesus—and we know this is just the beginning.

OUR LEADERSHIP

David & Tiffany Dirmann

Pastors David and Tiffany Dirmann moved to Memphis to follow God’s call to plant Memphis Tabernacle. Originally from California, they share a deep love for the local church, culture, and diversity. Before moving to Memphis, they helped launch The Rock in Orange County, where thousands came to Jesus and were discipled in God’s word. Together, they’ve served for years as pastors and worship leaders, with a shared passion for God’s presence, the arts, and the power of His word. They have four amazing kids: Miles, David Jr., Jake, and Zoë.
